Hi, I’m Dustin Guthrie—Charleston Realtor, Family Man, Runner, and Coastal Lifestyle Enthusiast
For more than 20 years, I’ve called Charleston home, and I’ve built my real estate business around helping others find their place here with clear communication, thoughtful guidance, and a personalized approach.
Originally from the suburbs of Washington, DC, I first came to Charleston on a beach vacation and immediately felt a connection to the area. That trip eventually led me to the College of Charleston, where I earned a degree in Business Administration and put down roots in the Lowcountry.
Today, my wife and I are raising our three children between Park Circle and Edisto Island, so I understand firsthand what draws people to this area. For some, it is great schools and a strong sense of community. For others, it is a walkable neighborhood, an easier commute, or the ability to be close to the water and enjoy the outdoors year-round.
When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring Charleston’s restaurant scene, coaching youth sports, and running. Running has become an important part of my life because it keeps me physically healthy, mentally sharp, and focused—qualities that also shape how I serve my clients.
That perspective helps me connect with a wide range of clients, from local buyers and sellers to second-home seekers and those relocating to the Charleston area. I take the time to understand what matters most to each client, then build a strategy around their goals, lifestyle, and timing.
In addition to my work in real estate, I bring extensive experience in home renovations, which gives my clients added insight when evaluating a property’s condition, potential, and long-term value. As part of the award-winning Active Coastal Group, I combine that hands-on perspective with strong local knowledge and the backing of Carolina One Real Estate to help clients move forward with confidence.
